A Little Bit Of Magic

I'm sure that most of you have already seen the video footage of Oprah's Michigan Avenue Party that kicked off the 24th Season of her show. It's where one person started dancing, followed by 21,000 fans that surprised Oprah with a full-on choreographed dance to the Black Eyed Peas' "I Got A Feeling".

When I first saw the video, I just thought it was awesome. Truly. And then, I looked for a decent version that I could post here, but at the time, found nothing. However, who came through for us? Who could that be? Well, none other than our dashing and debonair correspondent in D.C., Dickie! Thanks, Dickie! It just makes me happy too.

There's obviously something about music that comes from and goes through our spirits. Then, add on singing and dancing and then, an ENORMOUS group like this all doing it in unison?? It actually gets me a little choked up, because I'm retarded, I know. But, I think it happens to be beautiful... It reminds me that humans are capable of a little bit of magic.

I love it! I hadn't see this so a big THANK YOU for the smiles and the tears too ... I dont know why but these mass crowds dancing just really does it for me too!
Google "flashcrowds" for a few inspirational in-sync type crowd dances ...some of them are fantastic! This one was my favorite http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MufOPJI0lA

It's always good to know that I am not alone in my retardedness. Things like this always make me cry. If there had been a child in the crowd I would have been inconsolable.
