I know that's not real, but ... well, I never thought I'd say this... "I want to bang the governor of Alaska"
I am all for a female VP but not one who will fail to deliver on national security issues (like president Bush). I'm just wondering if this is a setup for women to be disparraged, as in the previous comment, or for setting up a womam to fail.
Anonymous - Actually, if you truly knew Furiousball, you wouldn't say such a thing. And I'M ALL FOR A FEMALE PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT, WHICHEVER. Bring her on.
As far as I'm concerned, I would've loved to see Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the same ticket and I wouldn't have cared who had what position. THEN, bring on Bill Clinton as Secretary of State. THEN, bring on Al Gore as Secretary of the Interior. There's a lot of work to do, and I imagine with egos aside, that group of people would kick ass.
However, nothing personally against John McCain's pick...but it's a little out of touch at the moment. SURREAL, in fact.
And this isn't a time to be surreal.
The only thing I have to say about her being VP....how could she not be as good as any that we have had?? Maybe it's a good thing she only has limited experience. I mean I don't know forsure...but what I do know is that how can it be worse? And in reality, I'm thinking her experience is much along the lines of Obama's for president. Don't get me wrong...I love Obama...just playing devils advocate here. Slam me if ya will! :)

Jade (a.k.a. Anonymous :) ) - Actually, you're right. I hope that whoever is in the next administration is better than what we've had. And I hope, I hope that it doesn't get worse.
On political agendas, I don't agree with Governor Palin on her stance on the environment or a woman's right to chose. But, so far, those are the only two issues I know of her.
But I do agree with you. No one had more experience than Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney and look at what they did. So, I just want the person to have an open mind, to be fair, to have integrity, and blah, blah, blah. Their cabinet and advisors are the ones who should have the most experience.
Anyway, Jade, I'm truly glad that you felt comfortable enough to play "devil's advocate" here. I never want to surround myself with "yes" people, (except in the bedroom). I don't want to end up being as narrow minded as the people I accuse of it. So, thank you, friend. ;)

Thanks Kevin!! Playing devil's advocate seems to keep me out of trouble most of the time. All I know is we all own this planet and DESERVE to be happy..regardless if it's someone else's happiness! I think we all agree the thieves, killers, molesters...etc.....need to be eliminated immediately. As for me, those are the thing's I have no use for. The other stuff is a fine line for me...a woman's right to choose.....I totally get it..but the other 50% of me says it depends on circumstances. So, I think that fine line applies to a lot of stuff for me! Thanks for the response.....Friend!

Did you hear the creepy rumors about her possibly "faking" a pregnancy? Apparently some folks think the youngest is really the oldest girl's child.

I think everyone knows by now that Babygate related to Sarah Palin and her daughter is beyond ridiculous. Step away from the sensationalism. It's false, cruel, stupid, and makes Sarah Palin look like a victim hounded by "liberals." So don't feed this fire, and recommend to your friends to leave it alone too!
Sadly, Sarah Palin's Babygate is not beyond ridiculous. Just because we've been told that daughter Bristol is 5 months pregnant doesn't mean that she is. The circumstances surrounding Trig's birth are strange: Palin begins labor, flies back to Alaska, does not deliver at the hospital in Anchorage that has a NICU and instead goes to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center (no NICU)---even though she knows she's going to have a high-risk baby. Sarah Palin MIGHT be alright if she were running for Mrs. America. However, she's vying for the Vice Presidency. McBush is 72 years old and has health issues, so the vice president may have to assume power. Does anyone want this bimbo running the country? She can't control her 17 year old daughter, so the thought of her leading the nation is very scary. Thumping her Bible at us isn't going to cut it...
