I'm sorry that I haven't posted lately. The new Summer Session at UC Santa Barbara (where I shake my money-maker) began a couple of weeks ago and its bitch-slapping me around a little.
A little too much for my liking.
AND UC Santa Barbara is located in Goleta, just West of Santa Barbara. Where the fire is. So, we've been dealing with power outages, lots and lots of smoke and falling ash.
It's been fun.
But, things are getting better.
There's light at the end of the smoke.
And there's a blogger ready to rise from the ash.

You could always apply to be a firefighter. (winter hours only of course). I think you'd fit right in with that crowd. At least for the after fire showers.
