Here's to growing young! And staying that way. I'll keep trying, if you do...

Let's not try, let's just be!
Flutter - Amen, sister...Amen.
Kids help you keep you young as well...
I will take Scooter to galleries and at first it seemed daunting to her...(I have taken her since she was a few months... and in fact, when she started to run it was towards a painting...
But when she was about 4 she started to balk at going...
As it became daunting...'What to look at, why would I want to look.. I hate it!!'says she..
Well, I thought this day may some, and out of my purse,I pulled out a pencil and a wee sketchpad...
And said 'Scooter, let's play a game... You draw me what you hate and I'll try and find it...'
It has worked for me now for five years...
She now also draws me what she loves...and now will draw what she thinks the painter may be trying to say...
we have sketch pads in every room of our house...
and when we go for a long dinner with Scooter we always bring a pad of paper so we can play eye spy in a restaurant... It keeps the mind alive and young I tell you...
beautiful stuff. i have my children's artwork (lots of paintings) all over the playroom, there's lots of great colors and ideas in there, but not as much as when they're here
we had to study him in Art history.
our teacher always said. " SEE!! it was OK to be fat then!!
" now we're all supposed to be stick figures!!"
Man, I wish I was growing young...Oh the things I'd change....
But we are today, what we were meant to be....
Great thoughts Kev.
