Some people are outraged at this.
Let's examine what could really be an issue, shall we?
If this was how Harry were smoking while signing autographs after the performance?
Then, I'd be bothered.
And let's examine who could rather be on stage naked, simulating sex, shall we?
Albus Dumbledore?
Well, I'd be a little squeamish. And slightly nauseated. Okay, okay, you're right, I'd be very nauseous. There's a good chance I'd blow groceries.
Severus Snape's snake?
I'd rather put a staple in my tongue. Okay, no I wouldn't. I would just close my eyes while he stripped and gyrated on stage. Okay, no I wouldn't. But, I probably wouldn't like it. Okay, maybe I would.
Hagrid?
I'd be scared as hell, running out of the theater as fast as I could, screaming my head off, while covering my hole up. You KNOW that even people in wheelchairs would be jackknifing trying to get out of there.
Dobby the Elf?
Naked, slutty, masturbating elves? Nothing makes my blood boil quicker. THEN, I'd be outraged.
For those who are pissed about Daniel Radcliffe going buff, gyrating and smoking on stage?
Guess what fuckers? If you're outraged?
Don't go see it.
If you don't want your kids to see it?
Don't take them.

See, younger guys arent my thing ... but he can get naked and smoke in my house anytime!
I got for guys a bit older than me, but in this case, I would make an exception. He sure has "grown up" hasn't he? In addition, I would LOVE to see this, but I fear I will lose my mind and rush the stage and join in with him. I agree on the "if you dont like it, dont take 'em". Same with people outraged by things on the internet or newspaper or whatever...ya don't like it, close your eyes.
Oh, I'm not turned on in the least by the idea of Daniel Radcliffe doing this. I'm just tired of people bitching about nudity. I'm tired of censorship over here in the States. It's actually fucking ridiculous.
I'm an adult, I should decide for myself what I watch.
They don't censor out violence; murder, torture or rape scenes, which DO desensitize people. But don't show anyone naked. The naked human body is just something to abhor.
Enough of this puritan bullshit.

I'd go see Rickman do it!!! I love Alan Rickman - even as Snape. And I think Radcliff is doing exactly what he needs to do to transition from being a child actor to an adult. I remember how surprised I was to see Anne Hathaway (Princess Diaries) take her shirt off in "Brokeback Mountain", but you know, I haven't thought of her as a child actress since.

The only nitpicky detail I have is that until July, he's an *underage* actor.
