Catholic church attacks NYC's free condoms

Would someone please tell the Catholic church to sit down and shut up? Thanks. Okay, now...where were we?

I just emailed the pope, he sent a very rude two word reply...

"suck it"

I'm going reply with with "with or without a condom?"

Terri - I was raised Catholic as well. They are far, far off course of any true, loving, unconditional message. There's no influence like an example and they portray a bad one.

Janet - Yeah...they're ones to talk. Nothing like employing child rapists and then protecting them. I wonder if their priests used condoms?

Claudia - I'll have what you're smoking.

Furious - HHAA!! made me burst out laughing. Thank you for that.

Seriously. Shut up already. Like the Catholic church should be taking the moral high ground on anything.

Consenting people have protected sex? Shocking! We are aghast! We must protest! The free condoms will make them do it!

Countless numbers of their priests have molested children for years on end, oh well, y'know, um...these little things happen.

Love your blog.

I am what my Mom was -- a Cafeteria Catholic. You take the good parts on the menu.... but not everything on the menu should be served.

I think the message you get really depends on the parish you attend. I'm lucky my parish does not suck. We have great priests and they have been a comfort during difficult times. Wish everyone had this same experience.... And that some of the dudes in Rome had more wisdom.
