My favorite Hendrix folklore is a supposed story about Pete Townsend ringing up Clapton to go see this upstart Yank playing at a club in London...so off they go and after watching Hendrix bend it the way only Jimi could Clapton turns to Townsend and says,
"Mate, we are out of a job!"
Ah, that's sweet...... so very 80s Europop .. reminds me of school discos when we used to go visit our French pen pals....... Songs like Duel by Propaganda....
I hate this and am deeply offended that they are making fun of... well ... me.
