Greek God? Or Geek Squad?
What they didn't show you was that Halle Berry blew projectile vomit all over the front row of the audience right after this picture was taken. SEE? She's getting ready.
I felt so sorry for her when he planted that huge disgusting kiss on her at the Academy Awards years ago.
I don't find Adrien Brody attractive. He's scared me in a couple of movies, when he played complete psychos, so I'm sure that hasn't helped his sex appeal factor with me. I think he's a fine actor, I just don't want to kiss him. And I'm sure that he doesn't want to kiss me either...At least the last time I checked he didn't.
Saturday night our friend Rave Dogg came over for some pizza and wine. We hadn't seen her at all over the holidays, she was out of town, so we had a lot of catching up to do. It was a low-key evening, which was certainly welcome after the hussle and bussle of the season.
In the background, Will was flipping through some channels; Animal House, then the most recent King Kong - which starred Adrien Brody. I was in the kitchen fetching the wine when I heard Rave Dogg say, "Oh, isn't that...umm...what's his name?"
Will responded: "Adrien Brody."
Rave Dogg: "Oh yeah, that's him."
And then I chimed in: "He kind of freaks me out. I don't find him...um...he's really odd looking...no?"
Rave Dogg: "Yeah, me too. He IS really odd looking."
Will: "I happen to think he's hot."
Me: "Hot? Hot?"
Will: "Yeah, he reminds me of you."
**Rave Dogg bursts into laughter**
Me: "WHAT??? OH...let me guess...the nose. His big nose and ominous nostrils remind you of me."
Will: "Yeah...that, and..."
Me: "And...what?
Will: "I just like geeky guys with big noses. I think they're hot."
**Silence**
Me (I feel my upper lip curl and my nose crinkle (apparently my GIANT nose), dragging my forehead into a frown): "Great...So, it's not just the nose. I'm also a geek. Thanks a lot."
More laughter comes from the living room: "HAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA!!!"
And my self-image turned yet another corner. And I poured more wine.

what? i think geeks are the hottest form of man (no real opinion on geekness vs. hottness of women). as for the nose, i'm not picky. now adrian brody isn't my cup of tea, but i really like that geeky guy in the office with his horn rimmed glasses and such from ugly betty. he's such a cute!
sorry to have been gone so long. i blame it on my antichrist computer. we coexist but not well.

I'm with Will - geeks ARE hot. And it may not be that you LOOK like Adrien Brody, but you may have some similar expressions. I find that when someone says something like that, expressions are usually the key.
Besides, we ALL know that YOU'RE hot!
Before Will attached you to Mr. Brody and "Geeky guys with big noses" I was gonna comment ... "I love geeky guys with big noses" But now I don't want you to think I think of you that way....because now no matter what you are going to think you look like him...

You should know, Kevin, that seriously (God, not that you care) I have a "thing" for men with geeky personalities and big noses. Zach Braff? Check. Andy Samberg? Check.
Adrian Brody? Not so much, but I wouldn't kick him out of bed.

Um, Kev, please don't take this the wrong way, but I can identify with Will. You and the Brody are both are Greek, no? You have similar facial structures and eyes. Beautiful, deep eyes, that convey an incredible amount of emotion and sensitivity. Put a picture of your face next to that one in the picture and I think, if you can leave all disgust behind, you will see it. It's not a bad thing. I used to find him extremely attractive, until he opened his mouth off screen. The only difference is that when you talk, you remain a prince.
