Barbarism Meets Barbarism

Two days later and I'm still having a hard time shaking the images I have from the headlines of the New York Times on Tuesday: Second Iraq Hanging Also Went Awry

They literally popped his head off. Whether he deserved it or not is beside the point. It makes me sick and disgusted. And it's just pathetic. And it's barbaric.

Yeah pretty nasty stuff. They should have just popped the bastards in the back of the head and been done with them. I know thats not much better, but its more than they deserved. Do a google search and read some of the shit that Sadam did to his own people. its unfricken believable.

Yeah... we're not turning the news on in our house at all these days. I don't want to put anything ELSE scary in my son's head right now.

Pretty darned gross, that head-popping.... when I read about it in the paper, I was horrified. Here in sunny FLA, we've switched from electric chair to lethal injection. And I'll tell you now - no matter WHAT form of execution you use, something can go wrong.
