A Mindful Gratitude

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" never fails to get me.

If the only prayer you ever say in your whole life is "thank you", that would suffice.
- Meister Eckhart

Wishing you all (and not just the Americans) a Happy Thanksgiving everyday!

I think the bare lifetime prayer requirement should include saying "sorry".

Happy Thanksgiving big boy.

Moving and wonderful. Songs like this (and like Louis Armstrong's 'Wonderful World") speak to the optimism we have in the face of tragedy...as well as the ability to be grateful for the small glimpses of beauty in our lives when it would be so easy to concentrate on the negative stuff. Thanks, Kevin.

This song means a lot to me - and just before my mom was wheeled into surgery last week, she referenced it (again, like she always does) and how she'd be singing it under anesthesia and then came the tears, from her and me and my dad - oh that song!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you Kevin and thank you!
